Company mission

To use creativity, technical know-how and fundamental truths to break new ground and use digital to solve problems for people and businesses.

Our take

Digital transformation and the shift of consumers online, both of which accelerated rapidly over recent years, have had major enterprises pouring investment into robust, seamless, and innovative digital products. With tech talent proving difficult to recruit and retain, however, many have turned to external agencies to build these products out. Hi Mum! Said Dad (HMSD) is one that’s fared especially well.

For over a decade now, HMSD has been building digital products for a growing and increasingly high-profile customer base. The design consultancy counts Oxfam, Amazon Prime, Audible, Ford, National Trust, and the British Army among its clientele, helping it ride the wave of the growing product economy.

With this impressive portfolio and an extensive team of talent, HMSD’s strong industry reputation means it’s likely to continue netting major business over and above smaller competitors. Its acquisition by LEK Consulting in 2023 expands the latter's digital solutions portfolio and will aid HMSD's strategic aims moving forward.
