Powering sustainable environments through smart collaboration.
The UK landscaping industry is something of a quiet giant to those unfamiliar with the sector. It has been steadily growing, with reports suggesting that the landscaping and horticultural industry contributed over £11 billion to UK GDP pre-2020. While recent years dealt a heavy blow to landscaping businesses, a surge in demand has seen companies across the sector reporting a real bounce back. There’s one problem: it’s overwhelming businesses, that report order backlogs and labour shortages. It’s an interesting problem that HubScape (formerly known as Greenwrx) may be well placed to help solve.
HubScape is a fledgling company looking to help small grounds maintenance and landscaping businesses work more efficiently. Its scheduling app is designed to streamline operations through smart scheduling recommendations, automated route planning, and remote management of teams and operatives.
Precisely what direction its offering will take as it begins to be fleshed out remains to be seen, but using scheduling and management as a jumping-off point is a smart move in an industry that is currently managing a surge in demand.

Since joining HubScape I have been able to grow my skills within my specialism and build new skills outside of it. Because of the early stage of the company, I'm really seeing what it takes to build a product and a business. I think I will look back at my time here as being an accelerator for my career.

I like how people treat each other at HubScape. It's a calm and supportive culture. People take their work seriously but don't let it get out of perspective and have a healthy work-life balance.

I like how people treat each other at HubScape. It's a calm and supportive culture. People take their work seriously but don't let it get out of perspective and have a healthy work-life balance. I think HubScape hire really good people and then trusts them to take responsibility for their own work and get on with what they do best. That being said, I have always found support is there when I need it and that the other employees are very collaborative.
