Clash's mission is to make more full-time video Creators.
Remember Vine? Well that app became Byte and the app was acquired by Huddles, previously known as Clash. That leaves Huddles today as one of the leading creator monetization tools for short-form video creators.
Crucial to Huddles offering is its pioneering ‘Drops’ product which allows users to tip their favourite creators. That’s combined with other features like paid FanMail and monthly paid subscriptions.
The goal for Huddles isn’t to compete with the likes of TikTok or Youtube. Instead, the vision is to serve as the backchannel for the fans who are more invested in the creator’s journey — like those who are willing to help fund a creator’s work, similar to Patreon.
The creator economy has accelerated dramatically over recent years. While Huddles has made great headway in being a leading platform for monetization, it must continue to grow rapidly and expand its offering to keep pace with the exploding market.
