Our take
An organized business is (probably) a successful one, but organization is increasingly difficult in today's world. A company's IT knowledge, documentation, passwords and processes often winds up sprawled across a tangled mess of apps, isolated hard drives and sticky notes. Aside from being inefficient, the information can easily get lost or fall into the wrong hands, causing major security issues or data breaches.
Hudu exists to solve this problem with a specialised IT documentation tool, which brings everything together into a single, clean interface. Integrating with a wide range of commonly used IT and office tools, it stores a company's entire knowledge base in a secure and accessible structure. Unlike most other documentation tools, it is provided as a self-hosted solution, allowing a company to retain complete control of its data.
Hudu has recently closed a Series A funding round, which will be used to further develop the product with additional integrations and new features. The funds will also go towards onboarding new engineering and design talent. As IT operations will only continue to get more complex and tangled going forwards, Hudu is excellently placed to help businesses put their affairs in order.
