Our take

Voluntary participation in clinical trials has always been fueled by enthusiasm for scientific contribution, yet it often entails significant inconvenience. Traditionally, participants are required to navigate clinical lab environments, a situation that can be discouraging due to associated discomforts and logistical challenges.

Addressing this issue, HumanFirst streamlines healthcare trials by enabling safe and accurate participation from the comfort of the participants' home. The company achieves this through the development of medically accurate wearable health-tracking hardware, allowing trials to unfold in real time regardless of a participant's location.

While there are other startups also exploring medical-grade health-tracking wearables, their primary focus is often on facilitating communication between patients and doctors. What sets HumanFirst apart is its innovative approach in utilizing such technology to ensure convenient and uncompromising participation in medical trials, integrating with participants' day-to-day routines.
