Our take
In order for enterprise cyber attackers to be successful, they usually need access to privileged internal identities. Identity credentials are the most sought after data in the vast majority of breaches, given how powerful they can be in ransomware attacks.
Illusive, which was incubated by Israeli military intelligence-founded venture group Team8 in 2014, has built a reputation as a leading identity risk management provider, working with SMBs and major companies such as Santander and Discovery, as well as a selection of government agencies.
With ransomware attacks spiking in frequency over the last few years – something which has been influenced in part by a more distributed workforce – Illusive’s strong reputation should stand it in good stead as the demand for robust identity risk solutions rises.
