Company mission

To redefine the way people play games through digital ownership.

Our take

Investment in blockchain technology has soared since 2018, when developers and entrepreneurs began to uncover real-world, effective, and potentially highly lucrative applications for it. One area it’s expected to make a major splash is in online gaming - in fact, blockchain gaming is the fastest growing segment in the gaming sector at large. Infinigods is one of the many startups throwing a hat into the ring.

Its stated intention is to begin on-ramping gamers into Web3, and has three NFT-based games already under development with some impressive early backing. This will be in part down to the bags of VC cash currently being thrown at blockchain gaming companies, and in part down to the impressive pedigree of its founding team who bring strong experience from across the online gaming and gambling sector.

Whilst blockchain gaming hasn’t yet broken through to the mainstream, it’s very much on the brink - and there are plenty of major players attempting to nudge it over. In spite of wobbles in the NFT market, and Valve banning all such games from Steam, the vast VC investment and industry momentum towards this new model means it’s a big wave. Infinigods are smart to be getting on top of.
