Company mission

Instrumems’ mission is to bring smart sensing solution to every device.

Our take

Instrumems was originally founded to push innovative flow sensor technology into broader markets, seeking out applications for it in fields as diverse and critical as IoT, medicine, and industry.

Now, the company has cultivated more developed technology, in the form of a recently launched multi-sense solution. It suspends a platinum nano sensing wire filament between electrodes, and can be used to measure temperature, velocity, flow, and humidity. Applications in the aerospace, natural gas, and automotive and engine monitoring sectors are all being explored.

Whilst the flow sensor market isn’t one you’re likely to hear about in the news, it’s a multi-billion dollar industry that’s expected to surpass the $10B mark over coming years. Flow sensors are seeing a rise in demand across diverse markets, and existing models have failed to keep up in terms of the size, cost, and accuracy required to incorporate them at scale. Instrumems claims to have cracked this issue - and if so, it will prove big news for the highly expert team.
