To turn space into a transportation layer for Earth.
According to Inversion, in order for humanity to continue to grow within low-earth orbit and beyond, it will be essential that we can return cargo and resources from space. This is why the company is developing low-cost, high-cadence re-entry vehicles to help make space a "transportation layer for Earth".
The company stands out from traditional space companies simply because all its customers reside on the ground. Because Inversion delivers value on Earth itself, it is able to tap into already existing markets - making for a larger impact than many of its peers.
This potential for high impact has not gone unnoticed by investors, and Inversion has raised plentiful funding. It will utilize this to build its autonomous spacecraft which will ultimately make it cost-effective to deliver to the planet’s toughest spots from space. The company is currently in the design phase, with the first flight planned for 2026.
