To make options more accessible for the on-the-go investor, through an easy to use, mobile investment app.
As investment banking and trading become more accessible through increased tech-savviness and connectivity, companies such as CMC Markets and Plus500 dominate a digital app space for those looking to trade. However, many of these trading apps operate on a commission and fee basis, with the company taking a slice of any earnings made using their products. Investa plans to disrupt the industry via its commission-free app.
Investa’s trading app offers a “Universe” page to uncover investment options that include the likes of Tesla and Coca-Cola, whilst its customers can use free educational content to better inform themselves about the world of stock trading. Investa’s USP is that it makes it easier for beginners to learn about and get started in the business.
The proof will be in the pudding though. Investa is yet to release its application and promises more features down the road. As a small company, it remains to be seen if Investa can cause the disruption to the digital trading space that it aspires to.
