Isovalent's mission is to provide networking, security and observability to mission critical cloud native environments.
69% employee growth in 12 months
Modern workloads and environments require a new approach to networking security, with the traditional Linux networking approach simply not working in a cloud-native environment. Isovalent supplies networking, security and observability services for cloud environments, with technology based on eBPF (Extended Berkeley Packet Filter) - which allows the running of programs without the need to change the kernel source code or add additional modules.
As the parent company of Cilium - an open source, cloud native solution for network connectivity between workloads (which is based on eBPF) - Isovalent showcases the commitment to open source upon which the company is built. Since its founding, it has grown to serve engineering teams at major enterprises including Adobe, Palantir, IKEA, and Sky. Through Isovalent's technology, these clients are able to implement enterprise-grade connectivity across their cloud native environments.
With good funding at its back, Isovalent is looking to expand its team to support accelerating demand for its products, as well as continue the rise of Cilium as the leading technology for Kubernetes networking, security, and service mesh. As more and more businesses transfer to the cloud in the coming years, it is more than likely the opportunity for Isovalent's growth is only set to rise.
