To bring the power of geospatial technology to everybody in the team.
When organising a major event, it is crucial that all teams can collaborate on mapping and planning, but until now this capacity has not existed. On top of that, project teams are often swiftly assembled from available local staff and don't always have the skills or experience to reliably share relevant information around events. Iventis was founded to solve these problems, providing an easy-to-use collaborative workspace and numerous geospatial tools to bring teams and shareholders together around major event planning.
As the first company of its type, Iventis doesn't face any direct competition other than from the in-house solutions it seeks to replace. It has already been used to support numerous clients running major events such as Expo 2020 Dubai, the European Championships in Munich 2022 and the COP26 conference. The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games also made extensive use of Inventis' platform, reporting that it improved their planning efficiency by up to 50%.
Iventis has raised money in funding rounds led by the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, which it has used to expand its core team and to move from a tech-backed consulting firm to a true SaaS solution for collaborative event planning. It is continuing to develop its platform with new features including a mobile app for on-the-ground planning, and is increasing its marketing reach by growing into logistics and transport applications in addition to events.
