Our take
Jeli was founded when CEO Nora Jones was looking into learning from Incidents in software but failed to find a tool that actually helped. The company now offers an incident analysis platform, drawn from years of research across aviation, fire departments, and technology companies.
Jeli sets itself apart by not replacing humans with machines in the process, instead enhancing people's work. They recently launched a free Slack IR Bot which enables teams to respond to incidents in real time. This approach has been successful, attracting impressive clients including Zendesk, Indeed, and Xero.
The company has raised serious funding, and this is being invested into scaling operations and widening its customer base. With 2022 capital combined with the August 2023 launch of a ChatGPT Beta for quicker incident response, Jeli is well set to make an impact in this space.
