Jopwell has two missions. For their community they aim to represent and advance careers for Black, Latinx, and Native American students and professionals. For their partners they empower employers to build more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces.
28% employee growth in 12 months
Diversity, Equiality, and Inclusion (DEI) is an increasing business priority, but it is one many organizations are struggling to meet. Jopwell’s aim is twofold: to nurture a diverse network of Black, Latinx, and Native American professionals, and to empower employers to improve outreach and hiring of underrepresented ethnic minority candidates.
Candidate response rate to vacancies are significantly higher through Jopwell compared to industry standards, making them an attractive proposition for organizations increasingly seeking to diversify their team. Given the real uptick in interest for a broader and more representative workforce, Jopwell’s measurable success proves an attractive alternative to more generic job boards like GlassDoor or LinkedIn Careers.
The company expands their operations by seeking partnerships with businesses. Major partners include the National Hockey League and Johnson & Johnson, and these help Jopwell reach many more diverse employees on a significantly larger scale.
