Joymo's mission is to create a platform for every superstars and passionate fans to come together through the power of real sport.

Our take

Sports teams of all sizes are increasingly realising the importance of online fan engagement to grow their fan base and clubs. However, while major sporting teams have the leverage to negotiate big money deals for their content, grassroots teams have no such option.

Joymo is democratising access to content creation for grassroots teams with an OTT streaming platform that allows them to directly monetise their IP on a pay-per-view or season ticket/annual basis.

The startup is beginning to attract significant audiences onto its platform. With this momentum, it is looking to pursue larger and larger partnerships with sports rights holders.

While Joymo’s product may be delivering for grassroots sports and their audiences, the startup is going to come up against some significant entrenched interests in the sports media industry as it grows.
