Our take
JustGiving is the world’s leading online giving platform, helping individuals, charities and companies organise impactful campaigns to raise funds for a cause they care about. Since launching in 2000, JustGiving has helped to raise over £6 billion for good causes globally - managing almost 200 million donations from more than 180 countries.
The company makes money through the voluntary contribution of donors, having scrapped its UK platform fee in 2019, and most of the funds are invested in product development. In fact, the company has maintained its leading position mainly through continued innovation and platform upgrades; such as using behavioural science to redesign the platform's interface, and its most recent integration of generative AI.
