Our take
Insight M provides large-scale, aerial monitoring of methane emissions to oil and gas operators. It uses methane detection algorithms and proprietary sensor hardware to identify material methane leaks before providing insights to its clients.
The company has had an impressive impact on the oil and gas industry’s emissions management strategies, having enabled its clients to eliminate over 14B cubic feet of methane emissions, which is akin to removing over 1.5M vehicles from the road.
Insight M has become the market leader, a position only consolidated after recently closing another funding round. This is being invested into expanding their commercial teams and international operations, as well as developing new instruments and software that will increase sensitivity and improve the quality of the company’s data for customers.
