Company mission

To give people control over their daily healthcare, by empowering them to make smarter choices.

Our take

Karma Healthcare owns and commercialises branded, original over-the-counter products and prescription medicines across a range of everyday categories. It is designed to deliver smart choices that give people control over their everyday health.

The company owns and commercialises leading brand pharmaceuticals including intimate health, skin health, digestive health, foot health, pain, cough and cold, wellness, and specialty products. Since founding in 1987, the company has grown to have 400 employees across 10 countries and products sold in more than 90 countries, with the Nordic region as its core market.

Karo is currently aiming to grow its top line 2-3 times in the next few years fuelled by M&A. The company recently acquired household name skincare brand E45, with Karo said to see “compelling opportunities to unlock value and develop the brand via focused activation and a deepened e-commerce presence”. Karo Healthcare are also coming to the end of negotiations around a public cash offer in 2022. The company is well-established and staying consistent in its scaling and growth, so it’ll be interesting to see what the company looks to do next.
