Our take

SaaS companies need to pass rigorous security and compliance checks before landing contracts with enterprise businesses - including attaining certifications and answering extensive questionnaires. This has resulted in some parties treating compliance like a box-ticking exercise, ultimately eroding trust in the entire process. Trustcloud, formerly Kintent, is on a mission to restore it.

The Trustcloud Platform helps companies get audited for compliance and security certifications, share its compliance program with customers, and automate answers to security questionnaires. The latter point aims to streamline the process for its clients, as well as design out the risk of embellished responses tailored to what enterprises want to hear.

So it’s a thorough, all-in-one approach that shores up violation and security risks for enterprise and SaaS companies alike. This helps Trustcloud pull away from a pretty large pack, which is composed mainly of more focused compliance automation services like Secureframe and Osano.

As the enterprise SaaS market goes from strength to strength, the need for trustworthy and effective compliance solutions is on the up. Building out a competitively comprehensive offering will help Trustcloud take advantage of this.
