University students have stressful lives with physical, mental and financial struggles. Kit Keeper strives to make their lives easier by providing convenient and affordable storage and shipping services.
Our take
There are around 2.75 million students in the UK alone, almost 60 percent of whom live away from home. Unfortunately, taking your life from one place to another is a huge logistical problem, and many students opt to find storage for their belongings rather than take them back and forth. However, traditional storage solutions are often unsuitable for student demands, as well as highly expensive, leaving many with real difficulties.
Kit Keeper has set out to fix this. In a nutshell, it provides a door-to-door storage and shipping solution whereby students can securely store their belongings then have them shipped on demand to a given location.
Kit Keeper will be facing direct competition from the likes of bySTORED and Safestore. However, it is entering into a market with a big consumer base, giving Kit Keeper plenty of opportunities for growth in a busy field.
