Company mission

To enable software teams to build products better.

Our take

Kitemaker prides itself on being the only product development tool that is built to manage the work instead of the workers. Indeed, whilst other products of its kind tracks tasks or issues, Kitemaker tracks work items, as the former does not represent the outcomes the company wants for its customers.

Integrations are a key part of the model. The company stands out in this department as once an integration is set up, it is simple to link discussions and activities to on-going work, meaning it is easy to see everything that is happening across all tools on one virtual space. This means focus can be put on helping software dev teams spend less time coordinating across tools and more time building products their users want.

As well as being accepted onto the Y Combinator program - known for giving Airbnb, Stripe and Monzo their starts - Kitemaker received investment, led by EQT Ventures and SNÖ Ventures, which, combining capital with investor knowledge, will see development and refinement of its product.
