To combine pedagogy and technology in the very best way, to engage learners and empower educators.
While the internet theoretically puts all the world's information at anyone's fingertips, in practice this hasn't helped improve education much, with most of the world still using textbooks and manual assessments in the classroom. This leads to low student engagement (and grades) and a hefty workload for teachers. Kognity was founded in 2015 to change this, with a digital platform that both delivers engaging educational resources to students, and streamlines the marking and assessment process for teachers by bringing everything together in a single place.
Since its inception, Kognity has grown swiftly and today has a global presence, with over 1000 schools using the platform in 120 countries, adding 60,000 new students in 2022 alone. 92% of teachers on the platform report time savings and 90% of students have seen improved results from the coursework provided. Part of Kognity's success is driven by its ease of integration with other platforms such as Clever, allowing schools to swiftly implement its learning solution.
Kognity is aiming to increase its presence in the US market, having recently released its US High School Science product which is seeing strong uptake in US schools. Once it is established with the national curriculum in the US, it will be aiming to integrate more tightly with the educational establishment in other countries. Its recent partnership with the International Baccalaureate may prove to be an important first step in this direction.
