To take the stress out of homebuying.
The home buying process is notoriously bumpy and opaque, and it’s especially difficult for first-time buyers. Kotini wants to help make the process simple, transparent, and less stressful, with its suite of online tools, resources, and guidance.
It’s a simple offering so far: there’s free calculators and explanatory articles covering things like mortgage payments and LTV. Users can also sign up to receive support from a dedicated advisor, and additional tools to simplify the homebuying proess - although what these tools are is unclear.
This reduced offering is likely due to Kotini’s recent pivot: the platform originally helped streamline the property search process for couples. After backing away from that, it's likely Kotini will need to flesh out and more sharply define its new direction. The real estate tech market is highly competitive and developing fast, and Kotini will need to match this to start building momentum.
Playing firmly in Kotini's favour is the impressive branding, developed over the period its founder was part of the UK Young Innovators Cohort. Impressive too is the founder's extensive experience across financial and project management roles. The market is out there, now Kotini just needs to carve off a slice of it.
