South Korean direct-to-consumer skincare company, KraveBeauty, is focused on simplifying skin care regimes. Not only does the company want to help those overwhelmed by the number of skincare products available, but also focus on reducing excess products to benefit the environment.
As part of this initiative, KraveBeauty paused new product launches in 2020 in order to prove that the brand can still attract customers without them. This experiment worked, with sales increasing 250% and its social media following rising by nearly 200%.
The company has been driving a stronger North American presence. This can be seen through its partnership with the fulfilment provider, OceanX (who works with the likes of Glossier, Athletic Greens, and SkinMedica). Through this, KraveBeauty will be able to scale its fulfilment operations internationally.
