LatchAid's mission is to use smart technology to support women during their breastfeeding and early motherhood journey.
Our take
New mothers often face a lack of support or information when it comes to breastfeeding, which can lead to physical pain and poor mental health. LatchAid tackles this problem by showing women how to breastfeed in a way that works for them.
LatchAid is headed up by an impressive team of experienced mothers, software developers and Oscar-winning VFX experts. Their sleek, easy-to-use app combines first-hand parental experience with industry-leading 3D animations that support the learning of breastfeeding skills.
LatchAid's app has has been trialled by the NHS in the UK, and the company recently received a sizeable grant. Scaling their staff and marketing efforts will be an important part of LatchAid's success.
