Our take

Employees frequently wish to query their employers on concerns, suggest room for improvement, or receive recognition for their work, but providing this is time-consuming for employers and requires a large-scale dedicated team.

Whilst employee engagement platforms are commonly used in workplaces, Leena AI has taken a smart approach by being employee-driven, as opposed to relying on HR teams gathering and entering data. Furthermore, the company's use of AI chatbots to help provide employees with a channel to access workplace support allows this process to be automated and efficient, improving feedback quantity and the rate of action turnaround to help employers improve employee satisfaction.

The company has secured some major users, including Coca Cola and Nestle, and after seeing a 300% revenue spike in 2021, has reached more high-profile customers including Bayer and Al Jazeera. Further, funding raised by Leena AI will be used to expand its product offering, invest into R&D, and increase its headcount.
