Our take

If there’s one thing that’s kept Levi Strauss & Co. in pole position as an All-American Jeans company, it’s their powerhouse branding. There are no signs it’s weakening on that front, either.

As Gen Z mature into the market, legacy brands are scrambling to net their loyalty and purchasing power - but Levi's commitment to eco-conscious business practices has landed it comfortably at the top of Gen Z's list. The company has also supported its future finances by expanding into the ballooning athleisurewear market with its acquisition of Beyond Yoga. It's a fast-growth, high-margin category, and hugely popular among younger demographics.

The company are currently focused on its business expansion into the East Asia Pacific region, which has become the fastest growing market for premium and durable denim jeans. As part of this, they are opening hundreds of new locations and will also refurbish current stores providing an "elevated store experience” with digital tools and immersive experiential content.
