To help families dealing with bereavement by looking at things from their perspective.
The average UK adult has over 11 services, subscriptions and bills in their name and it takes an average of one hour to close one single account. This process can be lengthy and emotionally tough for individuals. Life Ledger provides a free and easy to use platform which allows a family to notify all of the businesses associated with the deceased at the same time. They are setting out to reduce the stress associated with the process by providing a single point of contact between the bereaved and businesses across the UK, making it easier for both sides to bring it to completion.
Life Ledger currently has 650 companies signed up to the service, and is rapidly becoming a recommended service for several more organisations, including banks, building societies, pensions, utilities, credit card companies and insurance companies.
Life Ledger works towards a real social purpose, but beside that, there is also a clear commercial scope. The company is building a network of partnerships not only with the companies that receive notifications through its platform, but also with companies that form the end of life and post death sector, from estate planning to estate administration.
