Our take

Lightforge Games is an all-remote video game studio dedicated to producing innovative, shared storytelling and social gameplay in role-playing games. The team is currently working on a cross-platform social video game where players are able to create worlds and tell whatever story they want.

Despite being an overcrowded market, it is impossible to ignore the founding team’s experience at top studios – Blizzard and Epic – with Lightforge’s CEO spending five years leading a team to build Fortnite, the world’s most-played game.

This experience and knowledge of what works with consumers, partnered with a trust in Lighforge, marked by the overwhelming investments, positions the company to create quality content that is greatly anticipated by game-players.

Dan Hertzka

(Engineering Director)

Experience as Lead Programmer for both Neon Night Riders, a FIEA Student Project, and Epic Games that was responsible for Fortnite.

Glenn Raine

(Art Director)

Previously the Concept Artist for Vivendi Universal Games before spending 15 years at Blizzard Entertainment, eventually as Art Lead.

Marc Hutcheson

(Product Director)

Initially spent 10 years at Blizzard Entertainment as the Brand Manager prior to a brief stint as Creative Director for Superplay Games, before returning to Blizzard as Director of Marketing Communications. Worked as Marketing Director for Epic Games before co-founding Lightforge.

Started out as a Programmer for eclecTechs, Cyberlore Studios and The Collective. Spent 8 years at Blizzard Entertainment, eventually as the Lead Software Engineer before serving as Director of UI (Fortnite Platform Team) at Epic Games.
