Our take
Linde is a global industrial gases and engineering company delivering technologies and services to a range of industries, from healthcare to energy to food. As well as supplying gasses such as oxygen for hospitals, and hydrogen for clean fuels, it also develops gas processing solutions that support its customers in becoming more efficient and reducing their emissions.
Spanning more than 80 countries, the company's presence is impressive, and it boasts a long list of recognitions and awards which demonstrate its leadership in the industry. Plus, its contribution to combatting emissions - for example by supplying captured carbon dioxide to the chemicals industry - enable it to stand out in an increasingly carbon-conscious world.
A recent venture of note saw the company team up with Hexagon Ragasco to launch the Linktra® Smart cylinder, which uses IoT technology to enable consumers to easily see gas levels and receive push notifications when it is time to refill. With such a strong footing, there is no reason to think that Linde will not continue its successes, especially if it continues to work with new technologies.

(CEO, not founder)Began working for Linde back in 2001 as Managing Director for Linde India Limited. Became Chairman of the Board of Directors for Linde India Limited in 2012, EVP and CEO (Asia Pacific) for Linde in 2019, COO in 2021 then CEO in 2022.
