Our take
As the climate crisis becomes more urgent by the day, climate tech companies like Lun are playing a vital role in helping reduce our carbon footprint. 12% of carbon emissions in Europe come from heating homes, which is on par with emissions left by cars. Lun’s software solution simplifies the process of decarbonising homes across Europe by facilitating the sale, planning, and installation of heat pumps, empowering homeowners to effortlessly make the switch to green energy.
The young company has seen substantial growth, its range of partnerships with heat pump and home refurbishment companies has supported its initial expansion in the Netherlands. Lun announced the completion of its seed funding round in March 2023 - totalling €10.3M – which will enable the company to focus on expanding operations to new countries.
