Even though restaurants benefit from the business provided by delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and Grubhub, there are significant fees involved, and restaurants may also lose regular customers to these marketplaces.

Lunchbox is a food-tech start-up that enables restaurants to build ordering experiences on their own websites and apps. It helps them engage directly with their customers, offer a more personalized service, and improve their profit margin.

Lunchbox's customer base has grown significantly since 2019, partly due to the increase in sales that the platform is able to deliver, and it already works with an impressive roster of multi-site clients, like Mexicue, Mulberry & Vine and Clean Juice. With strong funding at its back, the company plans to recruit more restaurants (not just chains but small, independent ones), improve the product, and expand its team.
