Our take
MGP Live fuses popular video game and movie franchises with richly immersive symphonic orchestras and multimedia productions. Ranging from orchestral renditions of the Zelda video game soundtrack to the music of the Godfather films, MGP Live has brought to life the music of artists Ray Charles and Frank Sinatra among others.
Founded by veteran event producer and promoter Massimo Gallotta, MGP’s output melds the sophistication and beauty of orchestral and classic music with the popularity of film and video game franchises. This balance has helped it attract huge audiences to iconic venues. Whilst many global events producers are seeing ticket sales drop due to inflation and cost of living crises, MGP has found the sweet spot of live events that cater to in-built global fan bases, therefore helping it keep afloat despite economic downturns.
