To make dirt bike riding more affordable and accessible for all.
Historically, motocross aficionados needed to turn to eBay and other generic auction websites to source bikes, parts, and gear. In the past few years, however, online motocross marketplace MX Locker has emerged to streamline the process.
MX Locker began to scale at a good time, too. The company launched a fully fleshed-out platform in 2021 after traffic on its ecommerce store began to rise - and this chimed neatly with a broader consumer pivot towards online shopping. That, in combination with the increasing dominance of specialised ecommerce marketplaces, has helped boost some substantial growth figures for the relatively niche company.
For the moment, MX Locker is pulling in good traffic and sales figures, helped in part by its active stimulation of community engagement. This is likely to help consolidate its position in the US market, which is remarkably unchallenged. Whilst FC Moto has become a major European player, America remains wide open for the taking.
