As the ease of deployment and lowering operational costs of VR/AR allows the technology to go more mainstream, Magnopus is at the forefront of building immersive experiences. Magnopus and its Oscar-winning founders built their reputations in Hollywood, working on a host of big budget, special effects-laden films such as The Lion King and Hugo.
The rise of VR in daily life has allowed Magnopus to showcase its tech on a grand scale, for example with its digital copy of the four-square-kilometer Expo 2020 Dubai site in the Metaverse, allowing people to “attend” from anywhere in the world. With major brands including Audi, Sony Music, and Verizon already having used its VR/AR offerings as part of various campaigns, the company's popularity is clear.
Given Magnopus’ experience and reputation, as well as its commercial success, it has a clear path to success in an evolving industry. In order to bring access to AR and VR to a wider demographic, the company recently open sourced its Connected Spaces Platform, allowing any company or creator to more easily create shared 3D experiences with its award-winning tech.
