Our take

Makelog’s “release communication platform” makes it easier for software engineering and product teams to communicate over product updates. By using a filtered log, different team members can access information that’s relevant to them, in turn clarifying and simplifying product update details.

Makelog’s platform is a clever solution to the distance that often separates engineering teams from other internal teams – and indeed customers. Modern development teams at large tech companies are almost constantly updating products. As a result, product leads are under pressure to keep up with the pace and fully understand each change, so that they can pass this information on to other internal teams and customers.

Despite only starting at the end of 2020 and not being on public sale for almost two years, Makelog’s early progress has been very impressive. Some high profile customers have already been secured, including Monte Carlo and PopSQL.

After receiving funding to fuel its official public release, Makelog looks set for a period of rapid growth.
