Our take

ManoMano is an online marketplace for DIY, home improvement, and gardening products trying to capture the €400 Billion wide market for home improvement goods in the most wealthy European countries.

Innovation has been the key differentiator between ManoMano and other e-commerce outfits in the space. For example, ManoMano reached beyond a simple marketplace and became an advisory service with its ‘Manodvisors’ giving customers tips.

The company is seeking to invest more heavily in its product and build a better logistics infrastructure. Currently, the company doesn’t have its own warehouses or own any inventory.

While the ambition of the company demands respect, they must be careful not stretch too far in their attempts to vertically integrate in hope to dominate the home improvement market.
