Given the flourishing of the UK private tutoring market over recent years (by some reports to an estimated £6B market valuation), and the success of university entry support companies in general, it’s perhaps unsurprising that this model has carried across so well to the competitive medical field. Combine that with Medic Mind’s holistic focus on engaging with over 60 schools and with the NHS itself, and their product is clearly both comprehensive and highly effective.
What’s surprising, perhaps, is that Medic Mind ascended so rapidly without substantial competition in what has proven to be a highly lucrative niche. Medic Mind have played this hand well, and are now secure in a stable and well-established position at the top of a large and astutely-captured market.
