Performance management has undergone little change since the 1970s, with most employees often only receiving reviews annually. Mesh believes that productive and successful performance management of an employee should occur on a regular basis.

Unlike other providers, Mesh’s specialist performance management platform is integrated with software such as Slack and Teams, so that performance management is a key aspect of each working day. Designed similar to a social network, the aim is to support on-going dialogue between employer and employee, so the former can routinely set targets and provide feedback and the latter becomes more consistently engaged with the company’s goals. It also offers employees the chance to post their achievements on a company-wide social feed with the hope that it will inspire others and boost productivity.

Mesh has been growing over 100% month-on-month since its inception and, in a post-pandemic remote-working culture, is well placed to continue this rapid growth in revenue. It has been backed by investors, including RTP Global, Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator Continuity, and plans to put this money behind developing and refining the product.
