Microverse's mission is to educate and connect 1 million people with remote opportunities by 2030.
101% employee growth in 12 months
Online learning has seen a huge surge over the last few years. Whether it's upskilling or reskilling, the option to undertake a course remotely has never been easier. There are numerous online learning platforms and even universities are democratising the learning by making courses accessible via online.
Microserve is an international software development training programme which uses an income share agreement model (ISA). This means that students don't pay a penny for their course until the student successfully lands a role within their domain and start earning a certain wage. What makes Microserve different is its focus on the developing countries in Africa and Latin America and they're not competing with universities and local bootcamps. Students can collaborate globally through paired learning, presented with global job opportunities and receive support from the online community.
Since its launch, they're now hired by companies of all sizes, including Microsoft, Huawei and HSBC, just to name a few. With their substantial amount of funding, they're hoping to expand its global software training programme with the aim of showcasing that talent is universal.
