Our take

Influencer marketing has become a big business as people increasingly turn away from traditional media and towards the socials instead. With their large online audiences, social media influencers are attractive for brands to partner with. Yet with spiralling costs, limited availability and often a poor brand fit, this isn't always an appealing alternative.

Mifu offers another option - a marketplace linking businesses with micro-influencers, people with social media followings in the thousands to tens of thousands. While lacking the reach of larger influencers, they often have closer relationships with their own audiences and can generate authentic enthusiasm for products and brands.

Mifu has grown swiftly since its 2022 founding and has built a solid customer base of its own, including the likes of the Beaver Trust, Instinct Productions and StudioCanal. Going forward it is focusing on building additional partnerships and bringing more influencers onto its platform. As companies switch on to the potential for micro-influencer marketing to drive sales, Mifu is well poised for future success.
