To give vulnerable people a healthy, safe, and happy life by building on emerging IoT technologies and advancements in AI and Machine Learning.
The NHS is currently facing a critical challenge regarding patient discharge, as one-third of hospital beds are occupied by individuals who are medically ready to be discharged. This situation not only places a financial burden on the healthcare sector but also effects patients. Prolonged hospital stays increase the risk of infections and can contribute to poor mental health among patients.
Addressing this issue is MiiCare, a preventative care platform powered by AI technology called 'Monica'. The core focus of MiiCare's AI-led solution is to optimise and streamline the patient discharge process. Through advanced AI capabilities, MiiCare aims to support vulnerable people after their discharge, with the ultimate goal of reducing delays, improving patient care, and alleviating the burden on the NHS.
Through innovative technological solutions, MiiCare is changing the way patient discharges are handled, ultimately improving efficiency, patient outcomes, cost reduction, and resource allocation within the healthcare system.
