Our take
Mindstrong is a mental health platform, which aims to improve outcomes in the area via a range of data measurement, data science, and virtual care models. It's possible for mental health patients to schedule therapy sessions with a range of therapists and psychiatrists. The aim of Mindstrong is to deliver quality mental health services that are also covered by health insurance, and provide this through digital platforms.
This is hugely valuable for a variety of businesses and industries, with mental health issues costing businesses hundreds of billions of dollars annually. Mindstrong provides several different therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Coping and Emotion Regulation, Psychoeducation, Crisis Management, Reflective Listening, and Empathy, covering all mental health bases.
Unlike companies like Headspace and Calm, which have focused on the mental wellness market for the mass consumer, Mindstrong is focused on people with severe mental health conditions, which is about 1 in 25 people over the course of their lifetime.
