Our take

As manufacturing companies pursue greater sustainability in the face of public and government pressure, it is important that they know the reality of their current impact in order to reduce it for the future. Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) are an established means to weigh the footprint of a product across its entire life, but ensuring they are done correctly, and that they take into account the true impact of gathering raw materials - for instance from mining operations - can be difficult.

Minviro supports companies to assess and reduce their operational footprints, with a hyper-focus on mined metals and batteries. Its high-performance LCA software and good-practice consulting empowers clients to make real change for good as they transition to a low-carbon future. With an impressive client roster that includes the likes of Tesla and Syrah Resources, the company has attracted a lot of positive attention. Funds raised by Minviro will go towards expansion into Asia, Australia and the Americas, as it establishes local presences to serve its rapidly growing global client base.
