Our take

Whilst many of us wouldn’t say we’re carers, we often have to assume that role and receive little support. Mobilise is on a mission to ensure no one has to figure out a caring role on their own.

Mobilise believes that everyone single one of the UK’s 13.5 million unpaid carers could make life better for others in a similar position. The company offers support in a myriad of ways through the use of tech. Whether it’s a listening ear or help on a practical problem, Mobilise promises to offer assistance.

One such scheme is its virtual cuppa program, whereby those looking after loved ones can connect together over a video call and a cup of tea. The company is still green and whilst its only brought in a small dose of funding, it lives up to its mission statement in a number of ways, and will likely expand these offerings moving forward.
