Our take

Mondly exists to help people learn to speak to one another with an online and mobile learning platform which delivers learning courses in over 40 languages.
The potential of this market hasn't gone unnoticed by others, and Mondly competes with the likes of Duolingo, Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur, to name just a few. However, Mondly stands apart through the fun and engaging nature of its programs, which consistently places it at the top of educational language apps in online app stores. It makes use of augmented reality and VR to immerse the student and has specially tailored solutions for both children and enterprises.
Mondly's success didn't go unnoticed in the wider business world - in 2022, it was acquired by Pearson, a multinational publishing and educational company. Pearson's marketing reach and expertise in this sector will greatly enhance Mondly's ability to reach new learners and to develop its product line. It is well poised to scale its operations over the coming years.
