Our take

Generating income as an SaaS depends on subscription and payment processing fees, but adding such financial features to digital products can take weeks. Expensive software engineers who specialise in fintech must be employed if the job is to be achieved quicker, and that is before further obstacles are raised such as compliance and API integration.

Monite provides a fully embeddable API suite of fintech tools, allowing SaaS clients to add accounts payable automation, invoicing, and other brandable financial services to their digital products. The company's services are designed to be fully compliant automatically and are available as both an embeddable solution and as a white-label product.

Whilst it is undeniable that other companies provide similar services to Monite, the company has recognised the importance of speed - facilitating rapid development through its API. The company ultimately aims to use this advantage to bring financial automation and other cutting-edge fintech tools to smaller SaaS businesses, and funds raised will help it steer towards that goal by closing more deals and continuing to develop its offerings.
