Our take

Mule was founded when Idries and Luke realised how time-consuming and expensive it was to send parcels abroad. The app solves this problem by compiling a list of couriers at the best prices for when users want to ship internationally.

Mule's app collates orders so that everyone can get the advantage of volume discounts. It uses sophisticated weighting, data-entry, and measuring technology allowing users to track and evaluate their parcel history.

This allows small businesses and individuals to send parcels at the rates usually only accessible to large retailers, through putting parcels in a Mule Bag and sending it to Mule's freight forwarder. This means that DHL - rather than the Royal Mail - will collect or drop off the bag, which will be sent internationally by Asendia.

By splitting the journey in this way, users can save up to 80% on international tracked and signed parcels compared to the Royal Mail. As well as saving money, Mule streamlines the process of shipping by allowing app users to have parcels collected from home. Mule is committed to its mission of providing the best solution for anyone wanting to send a parcel internationally at the best price.
