Food production and transport account for 25% of the planet's carbon emissions. My Emissions solves this problem by working with food companies to calculate, reduce and label their carbon emissions.
My Emissions' platform enables food companies to reduce their emissions and label their products in much the same way as calories and nutritional information. This simple solution has proven popular already, with a number of leading food companies and institutions already onboarded. My Emissions is also planning to widen the range and depth of its tech solutions, which will allow it to maximise its reach and revenue.
My Emissions' impressive 2022 funding round earned the company £400k, which will allow it to double its team and accelerate its innovation. Though the carbon labelling market is relatively new, there are already a number of companies vying for market share, including fellow London-based startup Foodsteps. My Emission's main challenge will be competing with these rivals.
