My Property Rental's mission is to bring people and places together in meaningful and exciting ways, in exceptional properties with excellent service.
Hotel bookings have taken a relative hit over recent years, with short-term rentals now dominating the holiday accommodation market. This flourishing scene, kicked off in proper by the success of Airbnb, has seeded its own startup ecosystem, and property management company My Property Host is part of it.
It offers a fairly standard end-to-end service for clients looking to capitalise on vacant properties, and it appears to have won it steady business over the years. In its main operating region, it is pricey compared to competition - but this comes with unrivalled insurance coverage and some nice hospitality features. For the moment, it's keeping pace with competitors like AirbnbEazy and Pass the Keys.
Now, however, the travel tech industry is changing fast, and it’s here that My Property Host may face real pressure. Property management platforms, for example, are becoming an increasingly efficient way for owners to manage their own businesses - My Property Host must be careful to navigate around this potential barrier.
